Ashley is a graduate of Howard University with eight years of teaching experience from the Bronx, New York by way of Kingston, Jamaica. Specializing in high-profile operations management and community engagement in Washington, D.C., she has served in the nonprofit sector for over 5 years amassing skills in leadership, education, and special events. Guided by principles of servant leadership, this change agent solves problems through the lens of possibility. She has hosted over 40 successful programs surrounding education, mental health, community restoration, and professional development. Ashley is most proud of her collaboration with Alexandria City Public Schools! Crossing state lines and school districts as Howard University Miss School of Education Ashley Wallen’s work does not know any limits. In partnership with Alexandria City Public Schools, she has donated over 3,000 cans to ALIVE! Food Program. During her various experiences, she has had the opportunity to work with students of all learning backgrounds as well as collaborate and communicate with different stakeholders to produce the most efficient business practices and most profitable outcomes.
